Reverend Michele Williams

Rev. Michele Williams, B.S. Psychology, M.A. Human Services Counseling, is an Ordained Associate Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden under the dynamic leadership of Senior Pastor, Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr.

Earning a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology, a Master's of Arts Degree in Human Services Counseling, and years of experience serving the incarcerated and returning citizen, Reverend Williams is honored to provide this community with holistic care.

In 1998, Reverend Williams developed a burden to reach those who are disenfranchised in the United States and Overseas, incarcerated and returning from prison. Since then she has served on the mission field overseas in several nations, in prisons all over Maryland, and half-way houses in the District of Columbia.  

In April 2008 Rev. Williams received a"Volunteer of the Year Award" from the State of Maryland for "Excellent Volunteer Service." In October 2008, Rev. Williams served as a steering and planning committee member for the "Women Moving Forward" Re-Entry conference held at the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women-Jessup Maryland (MCI-W). This conference provided a host of resources for the lady inmates returning to their communities 6 to 9 months prior to their release.  

Currently, Rev. Williams an active volunteer at a local prison providing life-skills training through Biblical principles and life examples, and Pastoral Care.
